- 4 large bell peppers (any color)
- 1 pound ground beef

- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare Peppers: Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. If necessary, trim the bottom slightly to make them stand upright. Place them in a baking dish.
- Cook Beef Mixture:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
