Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a small bowl, combine the flour, sea salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine (or butter) with the white and golden yellow sugars until smooth and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined (do not overmix).
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing slowly until no dry flour is visible.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Using a small bowl of cold water to wet your hands, shape the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking tray, spaced about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the tray for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
